I bought this backpack for a hiking trip in Peru (Inca Trail). I’m 5’7 and have a 18″ torso and I ordered the S/M size.
Great for petite frames

5’1 and got this bag for a weeklong trip to climb Kilimanjaro. Packed it to get an idea of how this bag would sit on me and it fit very well.

This bag helped me hike Mt Fuji! While it takes a while to break it in, it’s very well made and durable.
Good for the super-petite

I am 4’10” with a 14″ torso length and this pack is in proportion to me instead of gigantic. It goes great with the 3L hydration pack made by Osprey, and by buying lightweight/packable gear and putting my tent in a compression sack I got the full complement of backpacking gear (tent, mummy bag, mummy bag liner, raingear, blow-up air sleeping pad, stove, down camp booties, extra clothes, food, water bottles, tent hammer, etc) all inside it despite its relatively small size. It feels more comfortable than it looks. I don’t know that the waistband would work for people with waists smaller than 24″. Great pocket system and it has a pull-out rainflap (red) that’s attached.

Best…..pack……ever!!!! Made intuitively, zippers an hangers in the right places. Perfect for a day of rock climbing. The weight is easily adjustable with the pack on, the straps work…I can’t say enough about this pack. Oh and it is made for a woman in one essential area; the straps don’t squash your boobs.
Love this bag!

Used this bag as my only bag for a 3 week trip to Europe. I am a serious over packer and still fit everything in this bag. Held exactly what I needed it to, and was able to be carried on to every flight- even Ryanair!

So many different compartments to store things in to keep everything organized but not overly complex like some of the other bags on the market so with many cords and strings. I’m especially a fan of the optional shelf inside the main compartment- get to separate smelly shoes or wet clothes from the rest of your stuff. Highly recommended!
I really wanted to love this pack and although it’s great for the price

I really wanted to love this pack and although it’s great for the price, there are several factors that led me to returning it.

I got this before I moved to Europe. I love it! Every picture of of me lately features this pack – 5 day mountain excursions and on weekend city trips. I pack kind of light, though, when I’m camping. If you want to bring a sleeping bag, and a tent, there are plenty of places to tie them to the outside…

Took this on a 10-day trip to the UK as my only bag and it was great! Small enough to be a carry-on to all flights (including Ryanair) and to fit in he aircraft overhead compartments, but large enough for all my things, including souvenirs! I love how this bag can be expanded or made smaller, depending on how much you have. Definitely will use this again when I return for a 2-3 month Europe trip in a few years. It is very comfortable on your back as well, and all the straps are easily adjustable. I stayed in hostels the whole time, but am looking forward to going on outdoor backpacking trips with it as well. The only issue is, like other top loading “cinch-style” packs, it is impossible to lock. I kept my valuables in a locker next to my bed when I was staying in the hostels. Other than that, great pack!
