Still looks and works good as new
Has served me well on many trips that have been very rainy. Still looks and works good as new.
For me this is the perfect tent. Stupid simple. Ruggedly built. Quick and easy to set up or tear down. And reasonably priced.

I just bought one of these Kelty Outfitter Pro 3 tents and took it on a 1 week trip in the Southwest with my oldest son. It was everything I want in a tent, Stupid simple. Ruggedly built. Quick and easy to set up or tear down. And reasonably priced.
Couldn’t make a better tent

We do trail work for a living, a lot of wilderness and non-wilderness and it includes a great deal of camping. Usually 150-180 days a year. I like kelty’s tents for a number of reasons, but mainly because of longevity/durability. I have owned a large number of tents in the past, and these have by far lasted the longest (generally year 3 is where the regular gunnison zippers run out of steam). We’re currently using the outfitter pro 3 after we wore out our second gunnison 4.2 (mainly just to see what it was like). It’s on year 2 now, haven’t noticed any problem areas anywhere.
Great tent for one person

I’ve camped with my son (in Scouts) since he was 6 years old – and had a bigger tent. Now that he is 13 – and I’m camping on my own – this is a great tent for a grown man. I can fit easily and have some room for my gear – yet it is small enough that I can easily put up myself. Withstands strong winds (40 MPH) and rain. Ventilates well in hot weather. Cleans easily.
This tent is fantastic!! While other scouts were packing it in because of rain-filled tents, or because their tents were blowing away, our tent stayed dry, secure, and comfortable. The rain cover is the greatest feature as it lets air enter the tent while keeping the rain out.
My husband and I bought our first Kelty tent over 25 years ago. We were heart-broken when it finally bit the dust and had to be replaced. There was no question as to whether or not to exercise brand loyalty. Hope this one lasts as long as our first!

We purchased 5 of these tents for Boy Scouts. They are extremely durable, light, and deal with weather perfectly. They go up and tear down quickly and easily. We constantly see others having issues with tents that we don’t experience.

great tent, but i wish the sides were a little steeper, you feet or head tend to hit the lower sides at night, was in some big storms in it, and lots of rain outside, but none inside!
Nice 2 person tent
My wife and I downsized by selling our trailer and getting this tent.
Great quality, very easy setup, lightweight, matching under pad.
