Used this on about a dozen overnight trips, mainly for light mountaineering in very wet or cold/snowy conditions.

Bought this to take to Alaska this summer. Tried it out this past week over the weekend in Arkansas. Nice fit and finish. I carried about 50 lbs including a 3 ltr camel bak and had no issues. I really like the fact that I can access the pack through the back instead of only the top with the draw string. I also took a tripod, DSLR camera and some extra lenses with no issues.

On it’s first time out, I used it for a 40 mile, 4-day hike on the Appalachian Trail. Rigorous trails and a surprise snow storm only increased my appreciation for this pack. Super comfortable with great freedom of movement. Highly recommend it.

Solid pack, no qualms at all

I carried this pack with me everywhere for a month traveling through Africa, many long walks and it held weight nicely. Carried all of my things and did a dang good job. I would absolutely recommend this pack. I’m not an expierenced backpacker or anything, but this did the trick for me 100%.

Great pack. Not an experienced bacpacker but used it on my first 300 mile camino seville to Salamanca . Held all my stuff, no negative issues. Strong, zippers work well just an all round very good job.

Adults with short torsos, look no further!

I’m giving it 5 stars because IT FITS. You see, I’m a woman with a 14 inch torso. You would think this problem would easily be solved with a youth pack. Well, not so much. At the time I bought this pack, youth packs came in no higher than a 48L. I tried on women’s pack after women’s pack but they just did not fit. Finally this one, in a men’s small. Voila! The shoulder straps fit better than all others. They are hovering a bit above my shoulders, but it doesn’t bother me. Once I got the torso fit right, I discovered just how amazing this hipbelt is. I’m very curvy but this hipbelt just molds to my curves, strange for a men’s backpack but hey, I’m not going to ask questions. And it’s got incredible cushion.

Perfect pack for 3-5 overnight trips

This thing is perfect for 3-5 day trips. It is very, very conformable. We tried hiking the Gunnison Route (Google it) and it carried fine. I almost ordered the 55L and my stuff would have never fit. So if you have never backpacked before nor don’t know how much a backpack will hold, go with a 65L or higher backpack. In mine I had a Coleman Double Hub Instant Dome Tent, Wild Water Fly Fishing kit, sleeping pad (Styrofoam), and 40 degree sleeping bag. Also had my Halulite Ketalist One-Person cookset, 4 days worth of clothes, food, rain gear, boots and shoes.

Solid Pack

Solid pack. Not junk, and just short of being luxury in terms of use. Very comfortable and sturdy. This should serve me well for the next 3+ years and many backpacking trips to come. I may never get rid of this.

Had this pack for well over 3 years and i have taken it all around the world with me. One time it was mangled during one of my flights somewhere in Nepal and i have no idea how it survived. Not only is it darn tough as nails, it is very comfortable. Plus i love the way the whole pack opens from the zip front, so you can get to stuff way on the bottom without having to unload the whole pack. After all my travels i think this is the absolute best feature i have ever had in any pack i owned. You can just unzip half of the front and reach all the way down for whatever you have and everything will stay in place just like you packed it.

Good backpack for enthusiast hiker.

Nice and quality backpack. It’s quite light weight and well made. I haven’t yet had a chance to test out in a tough use but it seem to hold up well so far. I’m pleased with the purchase.
